Healthy Thematic Group

Purpose

To deliver the key interventions, develop Service Improvement Plans to promote a healthy Borough and be responsible for the achievement of performance targets within the themes:

  • Improved health and well being of local communities.
  • Improved health and social care services.

Meeting Format

Workshop format meeting two to four times a year.

Membership

Officers from relevant partner agencies, stakeholders and members of the community.

Role and Responsibilities of the Chair

There will be a Chair nominated by the LSP Secretariat every two years who will take responsibility for chairing Healthy Thematic Group meetings, drawing up agendas (with the support of the Healthy Thematic Lead/Coordinator) and representing the LSP as appropriate.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Members

To work together to create a Borough where people can lead healthy, active and fulfilling lives as part of vibrant and strong communities.
